Less than 30 km away from Lisbon, hidden in woodlands, you will find the fairytale town of Sintra, with its rainbow palaces, century-old castles, exotic gardens and breathtaking sceneries. While researching our trip to Lisbon, I realized that the capital of Portugal, although one of the oldest and prettiest cities in Europe, is underestimated.
